JOB TITLE: Sales Executive

Company Background

Key Responsibilities
This position is totally focused on identifying and closing new business opportunities in the marketplace with prospective accounts in the range of $250k min to $5mil+ in annual sales. The first and primary responsibility of this position is to prospect and expand our client base, including:

  1. Identifying potential new customers
  2. Qualifying new prospects and potential projects
  3. Prospecting - using web tools, phone calls, emails, site visits and networking to generate leads
  4. Identifying and pursuing the internal contacts who have the ability, authority and willingness to purchase is an absolute job necessity
  5. Selling throughout an organization
  6. Developing and maintaining COO level relationships within an organization
  7. Maintain current and accurate contact, opportunity and account information with the applicable sales tools provided

You will be initially responsible for interfacing with prospective customers prior to the sale and then develop and maintain positive customer relations thereafter to ensure the business relationship continues to expand and strengthen.

  6. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain personal relationships that result in sales
  7. Track record for the ability to define and get “in front of” decision makers with the tenacity to secure face to face appointments
  8. Expertise and experience in preparing and giving presentations to client professionals
  9. Flexibility to travel through a multi-state territory, including overnight travel 2-3 nights per week when necessary
  10. Consistency, accuracy and timeliness in maintaining sales activity records and reports
  11. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Act software

Experience, Education and Skill Requirements

  1. 5+ years active field sales experience with specific responsibility for prospecting and expanding a client base
  2. 5+ years of contract manufacturing and/or metal fabrication business experience preferred
  3. Minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university; business management and/or engineering related courses desired
  4. Ability to read and interpret blue prints, drawings and specifications a plus
  5. Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record check
