Accu-Fab’s President and Sales Team attended the Association of the US ARMY (AUSA) Annual Conference, in October.  Held each year in Washington, D.C. this is the largest Military Land Power Exposition and Professional Development forum in North America. The event included informative presentations and panel discussions on pertinent military and national security issues along with an enormous military product/services trade show with over 500 exhibitors.

The theme for this year’s was “Trusted Professionals, Today and Tomorrow”. Some of the key note speakers included Army Secretary John McHugh, and Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, General Ray Odierno, and Duke University head basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Practically every forum discussion and speech heard during the 3 day event expressed concern for the current administration’s continuous budget cuts and the impact the resulting lack of funding is having on our military’s ability to be maintain combat readiness and continue to execute necessary training to protect our great country from enemies both foreign and domestic.
