Specialized hardware and clinch fasteners are installed using pneumatic and hydraulic insertion machines. Automation of the insertion process, achieved utilizing multiple bowl feed systems, allows us to efficiently populate product with multiple variation of hardware components. TRW Nelson welding equipment is on hand for special weld stud and pin applications, and a wide variety of industry standard press-in and weld hardware stock are maintained in house.
Specialized Hardware and Assembly Processes
Multi-component fabricated assemblies are constructed using a variety of processes. Automatic-feed riveting machines as well as MIG, TIG, and spot-welding techniques apply hardware components to simple bracketry and are also used to construct complex chassis, racks, and frames. Heat sinks, jigs, and fixtures are designed and manufactured in house to aid in the assembly process, ensuring adherence to tolerance requirements.
