We have some BIG news for you this month! Accu-Fab continues investing to keep pace with our business growth and to further support our valued customers. Following last month’s newsletter announcing the installation of 2 new Timesaver machines, we would like to introduce our newest laser cutting and turret punching acquisitions. 

Our Maintenance staff has been working hard since the first of the year to get these amazing systems up and running, and now we are locked and loaded and ready to go! Now in full production are a new Mazak Dual Laser cutting system and our fifth Amada Turret punching center, both equipped with sheet loading automation!

The Mazak lasers system has two of Mazak’s Hyper Turbo-X 510 series CO2 lasers which have an increased ability to process not only light gauge but also heaver plate steel materials. The system also processes larger sheets than our previous FMS line, so we now have four lasers each with a bed size capacity of 60”x120”.

Our new Amada EMK 3612 Turret is paired with an automatic sheet loader and is equipped with brush tables to provide scratch-free processing, further eliminating the labor cost of many secondary finishing operations.

Both manufacturing systems have increased our capacity and ability to provide the most accurate parts with the highest productivity, real-world punch rates, and position accuracy.
