welderThe most widely-accepted standards for effective welding are maintained and administered by the American Welding Society (AWS). This month, Accu-Fab completed the AWS certification program for D1.2 standards. This certification covers welding of 5052 aluminum (M22) & 6061 aluminum (M23), both sheet and plate thicknesses (.040 to .750″), as well as pipe and tubing from 1.125+ diameter with wall thicknesses from .125 to .750”.

This New AWS D1.2 Certification Expands Our Certified Welding Processes to Include:

  • AWS D17.1/D17.1M:2001 Fusion Welding for Aerospace
  • AWS D1.3/D1.3M:2008 Welding sheet steel </= 3/16”
  • AWS D1.1/D1.1M:2008 Welding steel 1/8″ to 3/4″
